Welcome back again to another half term full of learning. This is another short half term so there will be lots to fit in!
Our topic this half term will be "Plants", a science topic.
I hope you will remember to approach all of your work with determination to success and always trying to improve. We need to remember to stay focused and pay particular attention to presentation and spelling! Our new spelling journals should help with that!
Miss Hutchings.
Welcome back to school for the Spring term. This is a short half term so there will be lots of learning to fit in!
Our topic this half term will be "Where's Wally?", a geography topic looking at the equator, tropics, longitude and latitude and locating and comparing countries around the world. We have our role play area set as an airport to link to this. If you have any postcards or foreign coins you would like to donate to our role play please do send them in, it will be much appreciated!
I hope you will remember to approach this term with a Growth Mindset and increase the quality of work further as we work through the year.
Miss Hutchings.
Welcome back to the second half of the Autumn term. So far this academic year has been very busy with activities both in and out of the classroom! This half term looks to be just as busy!
Our topic this half term will be "The Fuse Box", linking electricity, forces and magnets. We have a trip to Stansted Aerozone planned later in the term to help us explore how this topic links to real life.
I hope you will enjoy this topic as much as our last one and continue to produce good quality work approaching tasks with a Growth Mindset.
Miss Hutchings.
What a great first week! Well done to year 4 who have been great role models to year 3 and helped them settle in to KS2! Well done to year 3 who are working hard and learning new things. I was very impressed with all your times table scores today!
We have started on our topic 'Anglo-Saxons' and learned about where they came from and why they invaded England.
Keep up the good work Class 2!
Miss Hutchings.
I am really looking forward to the new school year beginning in September and have lots of fun topics and activities for us as a class! Enjoy the summer and come back ready to learn lots in September!
